JAIPUR | THE PINK CITY
Jaipur will forever hold a special place in my memory. It was the first place I saw decorated elephants walking down a cosmopolitan road filled with cars and scooters. The first time we stayed in an old haveli (gorgeous old family homes/palaces found throughout the state of Rajasthan).
Jodhpur | The Blue City
We arrived late into Jodhpur but had booked a guesthouse ahead of time knowing that sometimes that is just easier, especially when you are in Rajasthan and want to stay in old havelis! We were greeted by the most friendly hotel manager in a black beret shouting “hello, Adam!” from the upstairs hallway that circled around the centered courtyard.
Jaisalmer | Desert Oasis
Jaisalmer is a small desert town that just might be my favorite place in Rajasthan. Evenings spent watching the sun go down from rooftop restaurants while listening to young boys sing local desert tunes can’t really be topped by much else.
